343 Industries has finally revealed the release dates of the upcoming Halo Infinite Season 2 game modes! Here’s when you’ll be able to play Last Spartan Standing, King of the Hill, and Land Grab!

Halo Infinite has brought back the classic gameplay from the series that fans love. However, so far, many players have wished there was some more content.

Luckily, the second season of Halo Infinite is coming soon and it’ll be adding new game modes alongside making huge changes to Battle Pass progression and Halo Infinite Item Shop.

Here’s what the game modes are as well as when they will arrive during Halo Infinite Season 2!

Halo Infinite Season 2 New Game Modes

In addition toHalo Infinite Season 2’s brand-new maps, there will also be three brand-new multiplayer game modes plus new variants and playlists arriving during the season.

Last Spartan Standing, King of the Hill, and Land Grab will all be coming during Season 2 alongside some fun variants of existing game modes and new playlists.

Last Spartan Standing

First up, Last Spartan Standing is exactly what you think it is. 12 players drop into a Big Team Battle map and have 5 lives each – the last one alive wins.

This will certainly scratch the itch of players who can’t wait to play the rumored upcoming Halo Infinite Battle Royale mode. Also, it will arrive on Halo Infinite Season 2 release day, May 3.

Next, following multiple leaks about future game modes, 343 Industries has finally revealed more about Halo Infinite’s King of the Hill.

Tasking two teams with scoring points by capturing a neutral hill, this game mode will also launch on May 3.

Land Grab

Additionally, the Land Grab game mode will be coming later on during the season as part of the Fracture: Entrenched event.

Fracture: Entrenched will arrive around 1 month after Season 2 launches. This is a while off but at least it gives players something to look forward to!

Halo Infinite Season 2 New Game Mode Variants & Playlists

Finally, the Halo Waypoint blog post also revealed some exciting new game modes variants and playlists that will be coming in Season 2.

These are the new game mode variants we know about so far:

  • Ninja Slayer – Slayer with Energy Swords and Grappleshot loadouts.
  • Vampireball – Oddball where the ball is a one-hit kill and lets you steal an enemy’s shield.
  • Rocket Repulsors – Infinite ammo Rocket Launcher and Repulsor loadouts.
